我學英文歌最熱衷的年代，應該是國中年代吧，
那時候全村就只有一家錄音帶行，
賣得多屬大雜燴的盜版混合專輯，
(那個年代大家都沒有什麼版權觀念吧….XD)
所以，除了同學互通有無之外，
老師、以及往返於本島的軍人，則是另外一種管道了，
當然，余光所主持在華視播出的「閃亮的節奏」，更是每周必看的..
「閃亮的節奏」每週以倒數的方式，介紹美國Billboard前十名歌曲，
絕大多數的時間，排行榜的變動不會太大，
但是，對於當時並沒有太多選擇的我來說，已經是很好的管道了...
印象深刻的歌曲當然不少，除了最後Billy Ocean的「There’ll be sad songs」以外，
那個年代的大歌星，Michael Jackson、Steve Wander、Paul Young、Phil Collins、Madonna，
到諸多的合唱團體，包括The Eagles、Pink Floyd、Air Supply、Carpenters、WHAM、The Bangles、A-Ha、TOTO、Europe等
就這樣英文歌曲陪著我一路走到大學，直到曲風驟變，
依稀記得最後聽的幾首歌是Debbie Gibson的「Electric Youth」、「Lost in your eyes」
隨著80年代的結束，對於音樂的興趣開始轉往古典音樂…
那時候，唱英文歌學英文是個很棒的管道，
一則可以藉由歌手的發音來潛移默化，
一則可以可以認識諸多的單字，
當然，這樣的前提是那個年代的英文歌詞可以接受，
歌手的發音也比現在的正確的多…
